Keyu Jin

I am a second-year student in Computer Music and Music Technology at UC San Diego, and a bassist with live performance experience. Performing on stage has shaped how I think about sound — not just as a signal, but as something physical, expressive, and shared.

Alongside my experience as a performer, I am deeply interested in music technology and audio engineering. Through composition and technical projects in multiple programs and media, I explore sound synthesis, modulation, and signal processing, trying to understand how musical ideas translate into systems and structure.

In the future, I hope to continue developing both my artistic and technical skills and eventually bring what I learn back to my hometown, Shanghai, contributing to its growing music and creative technology community.
